Spa Estonia finds a dynamic duo: Google Drive and YouTube
Spa Estonia offers wellness services and relaxing spa treatments with great customer service. The company has used YouTube as its external advertising channel since 2010, and added Google Drive in summer 2014 – which has brought with it many changes to Spa Estonia’s daily business. As a spa hotel, visuals are critical – and YouTube is an excellent means of grabbing the public’s attention. Videos of their popular Dead Sea centre have proved a hit and brought the company new clients from nearby foreign markets such as Latvia, Finland, Sweden and Russia.
Moving files to Google Drive has also brought about a major shift in how Spa Estonia staff think. The switch was so easy and effective that the firm’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Ave Pill, even developed a reputation for being an IT specialist inside the firm. “And it’s something I’m absolutely not,” says Ave, smiling. “When ten people need to edit the same file, it makes a huge difference whether they do it in an ordinary folder, or simultaneously in Google Drive. Google Drive was exactly what our company administration was missing.”
