quitt.ch is an online service that performs legal and insurance formalities for individuals employing cleaners, childcare professionals and other domestic staff. This includes registering contractors for social security and statutory accident insurance, and payroll administration. The business has an unusual niche, and often attracts media attention. Marketing Manager David Christen uses the publicity to maximum advantage, explaining: “Whenever an article appears in the press, we get more people searching for us. Google Ads is very flexible, so I can increase my budget for a short time to reach as many potential customers as possible.” Around 50% of his new business arrives in this way, and David also uses remarketing to convert people who showed an interest into customers after they employed personnel. In 2014, the company expanded from the German-speaking part of Switzerland into the French-speaking area. “That’s another good thing about Google Ads,” says David. “It lets you carry out highly targeted regional marketing.”
