Doboszówka: An agritourism farm developing their business and attracting more guests

For over 10 years, the family-owned agritourism farm called Osada Leśna “Doboszówka” located in the beautiful Janów Forests Landscape Park on the Biłgoraj Plain, has been run by the couple Małgorzata and Marcin Dobosz. A unique place for the whole family to unwind, or to host special events such as birthdays and weddings. The farm provides its guests not only with comfortable rooms and delicious regional cuisine, but also with additional attractions such as a forest spa, a recreation pond and a petting zoo. Thanks to meeting with a representative from Google Internet Revolutions, the hosts of Doboszówka realised that their website could use some improvements. They redesigned it by revamping the graphics and content. Since then, the website has become more comprehensive and, above all, smartphone compatible. By adding keywords, they started reaching their target audience. All this translated into more activity on the website, and as a result, better sales.

The optimisation of the company's info window on Google Maps also turned out to be extremely effective, this further grabbed the attention of new clients and allowed Doboszówka to stand out from the competition. In addition to the basic completion of their Google My Business profile, the owners introduced a few additional changes that improved the company's position on Google Maps.

We’ve added photos and new details to the info window, which helps our guests quickly find out that our place is child-friendly or that we have free Wi-Fi and a car park. We’ve also updated our access route on Google Maps.

Thanks to a few simple actions, both their website and their info window on Google Maps were optimised. Following the statistics on their Google My Business profile, the owners recorded around a 30% increase in website traffic and about a 15% increase in phone inquiries to their company.
