The Google Career Certificates provide community college and career and technical education (CTE) high school students with practice-based training in fields like data analytics, IT support, project management, and user experience (UX) design.

Earning a Google IT Support Certificate helped open doors for me. I hope that I can inspire other Black girls and women to work in IT.

About Google Career Certificates

Google Career Certificates, available in the fields of data analytics, IT support, project management, and user experience (UX) design, get learners job ready in three to six months.

  • Designed by Google: The certificates are taught and developed by Google employees with decades of experience in these fields. We also consulted employers and industry partners — people who hire for these roles — to ensure that the content is rigorous enough to prepare learners for these jobs.
  • Practice-based: Over 150 hands-on activities and interactive assessments with the latest industry products and tools prepare learners for a job at any company.
  • Focused on underrepresented learners: The program provides opportunities for economic mobility, helping more people get on the path to careers in fast growing fields. We’re proud that 53% of our program graduates come from groups underrepresented in tech (e.g., Black, Latino, female, or veteran).1
  • A pathway to jobs: Learners can connect with top employers who are interested in hiring Google Career Certificate graduates. We also provide certificate graduates with resume and job interview resources.
  • ACE®️ recommended: Each certificate received a credit recommendation from the American Council on Education (ACE®️) – the industry standard for translating workplace learning to college credit. Students can earn a recommendation of up to 12 college credits for completing a Google Career Certificate — the equivalent of 4 college courses at the associate degree level.
