When AI becomes the risk control platform for digital finance
With the Buy Now Pay Later model, approval speed and risk control are two sides of the same coin: too slow approval leads to customer loss, while too easy approval increases risk and fraud.
Currently, over 95% of deferred payment approval decisions on the Fundiin platform are processed completely automatically in just seconds, while still ensuring effective risk control. One of the key factors is that through the Google for Startups program, Fundiin has access to both the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and the expertise of Google specialists in building real-time big data and AI systems.
On its Big Data and AI-driven risk platform, Fundiin focuses on solving two core problems: fraud detection and bad debt risk assessment for its automated approval process. When expanding into a multi-product financial platform with numerous banking partners possessing diverse risk appetites, Fundiin leverages the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure to deploy multiple models simultaneously without altering the platform architecture.
Fundiin's goal is not just speed, but speed coupled with control—the foundation for sustainable growth in a rapidly changing consumer finance market like Vietnam.
How a 13-year-old boy solved a business systems problem
Many people are surprised to learn that the systems architect behind OplaCRM's latest feature is only 13 years old. Working with my father at OplaCRM, I often observed sales staff spending a lot of time entering data through complex software screens. I wondered: Why couldn't they just "talk" to the system instead of manually pressing each button?
The opportunity to realize this idea came when I participated in Google's "AI Solutions Lab" hackathon of Google for Startups in Da Nang. My goal was to build a natural language management system, completely eliminating the barrier of a graphical interface. However, for a B2B system to accurately understand user intent, I needed a very robust technological infrastructure.
I used Google Gemini Enterprise as the platform to develop an Agentic AI system (multi-agent AI), which helps machines analyze and understand complex conversational contexts. Simultaneously, I set up BigQuery, Bigtable, and Feast to continuously store and retrieve data in real time without creating lag.
In just 4 days, the MVP was complete. Sales staff now only need to communicate with a single AI agent to automate information updates and meeting scheduling. The Google ecosystem helped a 13-year-old like me turn a simple idea into a practical operational solution for the business.
Overcoming barriers and preserving "The beauty of silence" by leveraging Google AI
For me, running Reaching Out in Hoi An is not simply managing a social enterprise, but nurturing a space where "the beauty of silence" for deaf and disabled artisans is paramount. The biggest challenge the tea house faces is maintaining its tranquil, simple atmosphere while remaining professional enough to connect with visitors from all over the world.
To help the tea house grow while upholding its core values, I turned to Google Career Certificates and Gemini Academy. Google AI acts like a dedicated translator, removing language barriers and helping visitors better understand the stories embedded in each product of the Reaching Out artisans. Gemini and Gemini Notebook have also become invaluable assistants, helping me manage bookkeeping and business plans more easily.
This change yielded very tangible results: we reduced marketing costs by 80% by using AI to support content creation, and revenue became more stable even during off-peak seasons.
As AI eased operational complexities, I had more time to return to core values: listening to and caring for my colleagues. Google AI not only helped me manage work efficiently but also brought the unsung talents at Reaching Out to greater prominence, transforming the quiet atmosphere of the tea house into a shared language that touched people's hearts.
Empowering 47,000 female entrepreneurs with digital skills and financial independence
The journey of Co Cay Hoa La goes beyond simply elevating "Green Beauty" cosmetics from Vietnamese agricultural products; it's also about the aspiration to change the lives of tens of thousands of women. However, training, providing sales content, and offering continuous operational support to a network of up to 47,000 women entrepreneurs is a challenge beyond the capabilities of any manual management system.
We decided to "democratize" technology by directly integrating Gemini and Gemini Notebook into our dealer support process. We use Google AI to analyze shopping data, automate multi-channel sales content, and personalize closing scenarios on e-commerce platforms. Furthermore, we are directly applying AI in our internal operations, creating a noticeable transformation in our workflow. A product brief now generates simultaneous posts for TikTok, Shopee, and Zalo messages in just minutes—instead of hours of manual drafting. Repetitive tasks such as compiling reports, categorizing feedback, or composing customer support emails are all handled by AI, allowing the team to focus entirely on product development and brand building campaigns.
This transformation has created a double revolution. Google AI not only brought spectacular e-commerce revenue growth to Co Cay Hoa La through data optimization, but also provided 47,000 women with a powerful "digital assistant." Thanks to AI, ordinary women are now empowered to manage online stores, increase their income, and create financial independence from their local agricultural products.
Family businesses are transforming to adapt
As the second generation to take over Kim Phuong Pharmacy, my biggest challenge is the "inheritance and innovation" dilemma. How can I maintain the community trust my parents built over decades while finding a unique path for a traditional family business model amidst the fierce competition and constant shifts in today's pharmaceutical retail market?
I started using Gemini Notebook as a "handbook" to keep up with new regulations from the Pharmaceutical Law. Especially since medical content is quite sensitive, this tool helps me review posts before they go live. Once I had a solid foundation of accurate information, Gemini became my "creative assistant," helping me transform dry knowledge into engaging short videos with accessible language.
Without much expertise in marketing, I turned to Google AI Studio to solve the problem of understanding the market. Using only images of charts or a compilation of viewer comments, AI helped me analyze customer profiles and provide optimal content recommendations. The creative healthcare content supported by Gemini attracted nearly 200,000 views, allowing us to reach many new customers – something our traditional model couldn't achieve.
I realized that technology doesn't replace traditional values, but rather acts as a leverage to enhance them. The support from the Google AI ecosystem has helped Kim Phuong Pharmacy both preserve the dedication of previous generations and find space to transform and adapt better to the modern pace of life.
Business automation and promoting safe sex education
PlayAh entered the market with a bold vision – normalizing safe sex for young people through premium experiences and accurate knowledge. However, educating and disseminating knowledge about safe sex in a culture still rife with apprehension has never been easy. To make our voices heard and operate effectively, we needed a skillful approach and a sufficiently streamlined system.
By applying Nano Banana, we were able to quickly transform ideas into concrete images and content, making internal communication between the brand team and the creative team more efficient. This tool also helped increase the productivity of the design team when creating media products for the website and social media. Behind the scenes, Google Antigravity helped PlayAh automate a large part of its daily operational, reporting, and data processing processes, significantly reducing manual tasks.

Solving the "localization" puzzle in retail strategy
Vietnam’s retail landscape is evolving rapidly. At FPT Shop, our goal isn't just to keep pace with these changes, but to set the new standard. To achieve this, we set out to deploy a highly localized marketing strategy spanning thousands of wards and communes across the country.
To bring this vision to life, we established an advanced AI-driven system powered by Google Gemini. Rather than processing data manually, we utilized Gemini to execute automated geocoding scripts, transforming raw data from 2,839 target wards into precise geographic coordinates. However, we quickly encountered a significant hurdle: the Google Ads platform caps location radius targeting at a maximum of 500 per campaign.
To overcome this technical limitation, we deployed a smart AI agent to run a K-Means clustering algorithm over 15 iterations. This process intelligently calculated and consolidated the coordinate network of those 2,839 wards into 450 optimal geographic hubs. As a result, we successfully complied with Google Ads' requirements while ensuring maximum market coverage, without leaving a single target area behind.
By effectively harnessing Google's AI capabilities, FPT Shop has done more than just elevate our business performance. We have established a practical, data-driven operational model that is highly scalable, paving the way forward for the broader retail industry in Vietnam.
Advancing Vietnam's AdTech: Leveraging AI to overcome "dual challenge"
The AdTech industry constantly navigates a significant "dual challenge." The first is the complexity of processing macro-level data from platforms like Google Ad Manager (GAM 360). The second, amidst growing digital content risks, is ensuring brand safety and maintaining a "clean" advertising environment that adheres strictly to platform policies - a vital necessity for any publishing ecosystem.
Recognizing these critical needs, Metaconex has integrated Google Gemini into its core operations.
When it comes to data processing, Gemini serves not merely as a passive tool, but as an astute "data analyst." By automatically analyzing millions of traffic data streams and historical bidding patterns from GAM 360 in real time, the AI helps predict buyer behavior, enabling the implementation of highly intelligent floor pricing.
Simultaneously, Gemini’s natural language processing capabilities are utilized to automatically scan and categorize articles on Blogbio. The system efficiently identifies and flags policy-violating content, fostering a clean and safe advertising environment.
Metaconex’s application of AI holds practical significance for Vietnam's AdTech industry. It demonstrates that technology goes beyond handling day-to-day operational tasks; it provides a macro-level solution that empowers Vietnamese businesses to build automated, transparent ecosystems and strengthen trust with international partners.
Scaling by 3x: The power of proactive automation
As COO of AdsAgency, overseeing thousands of accounts has taught me a highly practical lesson: responsiveness to data is everything. Our team previously spent an excessive amount of time managing unexpected cost fluctuations caused by manual reporting delays. We realized our organization needed to transition from reactive problem-solving to proactive, real-time system management.
This realization led AdsAgency to integrate Google AI into our core operational platform. By synchronizing data directly via the Google Ads API, we successfully eliminated information latency. Rather than relying on periodic manual checks, the system now automatically detects and filters out wasteful search queries (negative keywords) the moment they occur. Simultaneously, we utilize Gemini to continuously ingest and analyze standard Google Ads performance metrics, such as CTR and conversion rates. Based on this data, Gemini provides actionable, reality-based recommendations, enabling our team to make faster and more precise decisions.
The impact of this process transformation has been profound. We have reduced mismatched audience impressions by over 90%, ensuring budgets are heavily optimized for search queries that drive high conversion value. Our average CTR has climbed into the double digits, contributing directly to a threefold increase in the company's revenue. More importantly, my team has been freed from repetitive manual workloads, allowing them to focus entirely on overarching strategy and long-term growth objectives.
From the first female Google Developer Expert in Vietnam to a mission to inspire 5,000 technology engineers
Speaking before 3,000 experts at the AI Engineer Singapore 2026 event, I felt incredibly honored to be the first Vietnamese woman to be recognized as a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Machine Learning, presenting on the agentic pipeline used in graphic design. Having worked in Natural Language Processing for over 13 years, I understand the silent challenges women often face in the technology field. For me, the GDE title is not just a personal recognition, but also an opportunity to encourage Vietnamese female engineers to confidently contribute to the global landscape of Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Deploying a rapid-fire platform to race against the floods
During the peak of the storm and flood season in late 2025, faced with thousands of urgent requests for help constantly appearing on social media, we realized the community needed a platform that could quickly aggregate and visualize rescue data in real time. There wasn't much time to build a perfect system – the entire platform needed to be operational overnight.
To race against time, we used Google AI Studio to quickly build a web prototype in just a few minutes. However, the biggest challenge lay in the data: much of the distress call came from social media posts with unstructured content, non-standardized addresses, abbreviated or incomplete local names. We used Google Gemini to automatically analyze thousands of posts, extracting information about locations, emergencies, and assistance needs. The Google Maps API was then used to determine the coordinates of these locations. Next, we used the Google Maps SDK to quickly build a heat map, helping residents and rescue teams easily visualize hotspots where many people needed help.
Thanks to deployment on the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), the system remained stable the very next morning, even when the number of users surged to tens of thousands simultaneously, thanks to the autoscaling capabilities of Kubernetes and GKE. Google not only provided the technological platform but also empowered the project to react quickly and effectively, contributing to connecting community resources in critical situations.
When AI technology becomes an empathetic interpreter
Automatic subtitles are convenient, but for the hearing impaired, the most familiar language remains sign language and facial expressions. Participating in the DevFest 2025 Hackathon, our team started with a simple desire: to bring that natural experience online using VSL Ex – a browser extension with an integrated virtual interpreter avatar.
The biggest challenge we faced within the 36-hour timeframe was figuring out how the avatar could "listen" and translate videos synchronously. We solved this by applying Google Cloud Speech-to-Text. This tool extracts and converts audio streams into text with high speed and accuracy. This text is the essential foundational data for our AI system to translate into corresponding sign language gestures.
Furthermore, an accessibility extension needs to be easy to use and not slow down the computer. Therefore, we decided to deploy the project on Google Cloud Run. Cloud Run handles all complex calculations and translation tasks smoothly on its cloud platform, allowing the utility to run seamlessly in the user's browser.
From the initial idea, Google's tools helped us overcome technical barriers to complete the prototype in just 36 hours. We believe that the most meaningful technology is that which brings about more equal and humane connections for everyone.
Building automated 5K stations for public health
During the pandemic, witnessing the exhaustion of healthcare workers at checkpoints, we wondered: Where was technology when people needed it most? The Gateway project was born from that very concern. We were determined to create a fully automated 5K checkpoint, replacing humans in the highest-risk areas for infection.
However, a community-oriented solution needed to be implemented quickly and reliably. The Google ecosystem helped us translate empathy into action. We leveraged Flutter and Angular to build Progressive Web Apps at lightning speed, ensuring anyone could easily operate them. Behind that smooth interface is the power of TensorFlow for intelligent recognition, along with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform for real-time data synchronization from IoT devices via Bluetooth. Without these tools, Gateway would hardly be able to operate smoothly.
For Gateway, making it into the Top 3 of the Global Solution Challenge 2022 among 850 projects wasn't the ultimate goal. After the competition, we continued to maintain open-source code and an online idea dashboard, helping GDSC members learn and refer to each other. Google helped us transform a competition project into a long-term knowledge springboard, empowering the next generation of developers to be creative.
Four months to build an AI community with over 100,000 members
During the process of building AI infrastructure for animation studios and fashion publishing at Vidtory.ai, I clearly saw the practical value of this technology. However, the technical barriers to AI application remain quite significant. I aspire to create a shared space where AI becomes more accessible and accessible to the majority of people.
Having been involved with the Google Developer Group (GDG) Hanoi, I learned a great deal from the knowledge-sharing culture of the Google ecosystem. This motivated me to launch Antigravity Vietnam in early 2026 – a space for technology enthusiasts, creators, developers, founders, and anyone who wants to apply AI, especially AI Agent tools like Antigravity, to their practical work.
In just four months, Antigravity Vietnam has gathered over 100,000 members. Instead of focusing on macro concepts, we strive to build a practical learning environment with specific problems, making it easy for many people to apply AI to their real-world work.

As a final-year Pharmacy student at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, my frequent work in the laboratory and clinical environment made me realize a drawback: taking notes with pen and paper is not only cumbersome but also carries a high risk of infection. Not to mention, handwritten data is easily lost and difficult to retrieve.
I decided to switch to a "paperless" work method to ensure safety standards. Instead of bringing notebooks to the lab, I use the Google ecosystem to digitize everything. Gemini Notebook thus became my storage place for research documents and clinical notes. This tool automatically compiles complex medical knowledge into concise summaries, helping me grasp the main points immediately without touching paper. When I need to delve deeper into a difficult topic, Google Gemini becomes a powerful assistant, helping me analyze and systematize information quickly.
This small change has made my research process significantly safer and more scientific. Even better, my habit of applying technology led me to join the Google Student Ambassador (GSA) network. There, I found like-minded collaborators, and together we are building a small HealthTech project, aiming to make the work process for medical students safer and more modern.
"One-person business" powered by AI
As a freelancer, marketing instructor, and operator of a small advertising agency, I used to be trapped in a cycle of overload. Administrative tasks like drafting contracts or reviewing taxes consumed my evenings after teaching, leaving me exhausted and distracted from my core expertise. Faced with this pressure, I knew I needed a smarter and more efficient workflow.
Joining Gemini Academy provided me with a very practical solution. Instead of continuing to handle everything myself, I started using Google Gemini to streamline my operational processes.
I set up Gems and Gen AI Agents on the Google platform to act as virtual assistants. Specifically, I used AI to help me research and update tax regulations, draft basic contract terms, and create marketing content outlines. Google Gemini helped me handle these repetitive tasks quickly.
Recognizing the potential of technology, I established a "one-person enterprise" model – LTU Innovation, a consulting and training unit for digital transformation applying AI, VR/XR, and digital experience technologies. From there, I have expanded my influence, successfully training over 300 civil servants in Hanoi's administrative sector, 1,000 employees from major industrial and telecommunications corporations, and over 2,000 students and freelancers on how to master Gemini.

Stepping out of my comfort zone to embrace technology alongside my daughter has done more than just strengthen our family bond; it has also given me the confidence to apply digital tools to optimize management workflows at my workplace.
When AI meets the highlands: A teacher’s path to spread knowledge
I am a Natural Science teacher at Nam Can Secondary School in Lai Chau province. Located 20 kilometers from the town center, my school primarily serves students from ethnic minority communities. Since many of the children are not yet fully fluent in Vietnamese, grasping abstract concepts in Chemistry or Biology can be a real challenge for them.
To be honest, when I first heard about AI, I was quite hesitant. I used to think it was an "urban privilege" that required high-speed internet, not something meant for a remote mountainous village.
However, curiosity soon outweighed my apprehension. I enrolled in the AI Ready ASEAN program - hosted by the ASEAN Foundation and funded by Google.org - to learn how to use Google AI tools, gradually turning technology into a "silent partner" in my teaching. Instead of staying up late struggling over lesson plans, I now use Gemini to simplify complex scientific principles. The tool helps me quickly adapt textbook concepts into relatable examples connected to the terraced fields and familiar vegetation of our village.
Because Gemini significantly reduces my lesson preparation time, I now have the unhurried moments needed to sit beside students who are struggling at the back of the classroom and patiently guide them. Technology is helping me ensure one vital thing: that no child in these highlands is left behind.
A Visual-First approach in tech education for the DHH
As an independent instructor involved in digital empowerment projects with Vietnet-ICT, my goal is to bring technology education to diverse marginalized communities. Therefore, I was thrilled to partner with SÁNG - a social enterprise championing the rights of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community. However, this opportunity came with a practical challenge. I realized that my usual, sound-reliant lessons such as Music Lab or AI Dance Party would simply not be accessible to DHH learners.
This realization prompted a complete shift in my teaching methodology. Having participated in the AI Ready ASEAN program, organized by the ASEAN Foundation and funded by Google.org, I learned how to use Gemini to analyze and evaluate my curriculum from a DHH perspective. Guided by Gemini's insights, I restructured the content, replacing audio-based activities with exercises that prioritize imagery and visual interaction - a truly "visual-first" approach.
The classroom experience was further streamlined by Google Classroom, which served as a central hub for storing and sharing materials. Alongside features within the Google Spaces ecosystem, it ensured continuous, seamless two-way communication between myself and the students.
Leveraging these tools helped dismantle significant barriers in managing the classroom. The students were not only actively engaged in learning but also clearly understood how to apply these concepts in real life.
