Think about the last time you planned a solo trip or group vacation. Selecting a location, delegating responsibilities, collecting and tracking payments, coordinating arrivals, and ensuring everyone enjoys the trip are all part of project management. Think about the value that accomplishing those tasks adds to your trip. Now, think about the value that you can add to a company.
Project management is valuable to businesses because it helps ensure that a project delivers on expected outcomes — both in terms of time and budget. So, as you can imagine, project management is critical to the success of projects, both big and small.
You! No prior project management experience or specific knowledge is required. All you need is an interest in solving problems and working with people.
Spreadsheets (e.g. Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel), word processing applications (e.g. Google Docs, Microsoft Word), and presentation applications (e.g. Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote) will be used in this course. Additionally, learners will have the option to use Asana and to learn about other common work management tools.
This course is currently available in English and we are currently working on bringing in additional languages.
In Malaysia, the subscription cost is $29 USD per month after an initial 7-day trial period at no cost. Google Career Certificates are completely self-paced, and many learners complete their Certificate in three to six months.
