More than 40 early stage startups, entrepreneurs and skill-seekers joined us for a special ‘Intro to Online Marketing’ workshop at the Parkdale Centre for Innovation. Googlers from the Canada Marketing team led the group through the ins and outs of getting found and noticed on the web, and hosted a series of 1:1 mentorship sessions. From setting up Google My Business profiles and Adwords Express accounts, to tips for using tools like Google Trends and optimizing website SEO, attendees asked thoughtful questions and got personalized support.
