Who is Interview Warmup for?

Grow with Google originally designed Interview Warmup to help Google Career Certificate learners prepare for job interviews, but it's available for anyone to use. It’s a judgment-free zone for anyone who wants a little practice interviewing. Grow with Google’s Interview Warmup tool provides a judgement-free zone for people who want to become more comfortable answering interview questions.

How does Interview Warmup use AI?

Interview Warmup uses AI to help transcribe your spoken answers so you can review them — all while keeping everything you say private to you. It also helps you uncover insights in your answers. However, AI isn’t used to generate interview questions, all of which have been created by industry experts.

What can I expect out of the insights?

Insights help you discover patterns in your answers. They don't "grade" your answer or tell you what part of your answer is right or wrong. Insights include the job-related terms you use, your most-used words, and the talking points you cover. Depending on your answer, Interview Warmup might not detect any insights. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with your answer. If you have an idea for a new insight you’d like to see, feel free to reach out to us.

Does Google save or have access to my answers?

No. We don't save your audio or the transcripts of your answers. That means all your Interview Warmup data is private to you. If you would like to save your answers, you can do that by copying the text of a single response, or downloading the full transcript at the end of the interview.
