Top10 achieves rapid growth in the hotel booking sector by using Google Ads

The company started in February 2013 and, by the summer of 2014, Top10 had reached a remarkable landmark of 6,500 hotel bookings on its website per month. “Google Ads enables us to be incredibly targeted, try out different types of ads, test these ads and learn what works in a matter of hours, which makes us very efficient online,” says Co-founder and CMO Alex Buttle. “It all adds up to flexibility, transparency, real-time info and power.” For Alex, there’s also no doubt that Google Ads is friendly to new entrants in any market. “It’s a level playing field – we’re immediately allowed to stand alongside the likes of Expedia,” he says. “There are very few types of media where you can do that.” By integrating its summer 2014 TV campaign with YouTube and by using Google Ads, Top10 has been able to reach even more people in an extremely cost-effective way.
