Massage centre stays ahead of the competition
Kampin hierontapiste, a Helsinki massage therapy centre, has used Google Ads on and off since 2013, when the company began marketing itself more actively. In particular, the centre uses online advertising during off-peak periods, and to market its Christmas gift cards. This has led to increased sales and more customer enquiries than before.
Owner Miika Severinkangas explains: “It’s hard to reach your full sales potential when you operate in small premises and have limited staff. We saw a lot more competition in the autumn, with many new businesses opening in our local area. So that was the perfect time for us to step up our marketing campaign by developing our website and our use of Google Ads.”
Miika continues: “The number of visits to our website has tripled. We recently relaunched our Google Ads campaign and site traffic went up by around 40%. With an annual increase in turnover, we’re starting to look for larger, more affordable business premises in the neighbourhood.”
