Hotel competes against established competitors by using Google Ads

The Nesslerhof is an owner-managed four-star superior hotel in Großarl, a town in the Hohe Tauern national park and Großarl valley ski area. Renovated in a modern alpine style in 2011, the building has 43 rooms, five suites and an extensive health complex with indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a gym and spa. In its launch phase, the hotel deployed Google Ads and Analytics to generate the first bookings. The hotel is particularly grateful to Google Ads for ensuring a steady basic level of occupancy in the critical early days of the business. “From day one, Google Ads has driven sales,” the Neudegger family confirms. Even after three successful years’ trading, they’re still using Google Ads. The Nesslerhof Hotel targets all its marketing campaigns at the entire German-speaking region (Austria, Germany and Switzerland). Thanks to Google, the business has continually increased its turnover on a relatively small advertising budget. This allowed it to slightly reduce marketing as a proportion of overall expenditure and to hire new employees. The Neudegger family is in no doubt about the effectiveness of Google tools: “With Google Ads, we have held our own against large, established and well-known competitors right from the very beginning.”
